Safe Loading Procedures

At Sleepersworx, ensuring the safety of our customers is paramount. When it comes to customer pickups, we strictly adhere to safe loading procedures. By following these loading protocols, we aim to provide our customers with a seamless and secure pickup experience, reflecting our commitment to safety and quality. Should you have any questions, please contact us.

Load Capacity

A compliance plate that specifies the safe weight limit is typically attached to trailers.

If your vehicle and/or trailer cannot safely carry your entire order, please arrange multiple pickups or internal/ external courier delivery with our team. In the event of a trailer having no compliance plate, these guidelines will apply.

Load Dimensions

Determine the load can fit within the dimensions of the vehicle and/or trailer without overhang.

Under no circumstances are steel beams to be placed on top of tailgates or above cabin of vehicle.

Secure your load

Ensure you have the appropriate means to secure or tie down your load safely.

We will not load any vehicle if the driver cannot confirm they have the appropriate equipment to secure the load safely. Your load restraints must be in a suitable condition and be able to handle the total capacity of the load.

Load Positioning

Overhang can only occur if the weight of the steels is positioned correctly.

Steel must be positioned centrally over the axles of the vehicle/trailer and is secured/tied down appropriately. If the load does not fit within the dimensions of a trailer, both ends of the trailer gates must be lowered so there is equal overhang at the front and back of the trailer.
